CA50 series of Calcium Aluminate Refractory Binder consist of CA50-C5, CA50-C6, CA50-G7, CA50-G8,
CA50-G9, CA50-N and CA50-fused.
CA50 series of Calcium Aluminate Refractory Binder are made of bauxite and limestone or calcined limestone, which are sintered rvith proper ratio at high temperature in the rotary kiln, or fused in the arc furnace. The clinker will be pulverized to form calcium aluminate binder, of which main mineralogy phase is CA and CA2. With content of Fe2O3 (2.5Ea), it can be used in the furnaces with CO deoxidizing atmosphere.
CA50-C5, CA50-C6 and CA50-C7 are normal type of aluminate binder, which is suitable for production of traditional castables such as lining in the heating-boilers and other industrial furnaces at temperature below 1300'C.
CA50-G8, CA50-C9 are high strength aluminate binder. They are made of high quality raw materials through strengthened process management and are suitable for the production of middle or low cement castables, such as
fluidized bed boiler lining, cement preheater, kiln door cover, cooler lining, alumina fluidized roasting furnace lining, heating furnace, soaking furnace lining, etc.
CA50-N and CA50-fused are early strength aluminate binder, tested according to CB201-2000, of which 6 hours compressive strength can reach 20-30Mpa . It can be de-molded within one day when producing mid-low cement castable.
CA-65-H is a high strength calcium aluminate cement, it is a national-level products developed by our company in 1995. It is produced by calcining selected fine natural bauxite and limestone strictly in accordance with process management and technological parameter control regulations and operational rules before grounding to cement.
It's main mineral phase is CA2, It is a kind of hydraulic binder with high temperature resistance performance.
It has longer setting time, and its strength development is similar to that of silicate cement, whose strength of 3 and 28 days is its criterion. Its early strength develops rapidly while the late strength is even higher with excellent atmosphere
stability.
It is mainly for producing preparing Refractory Concrete with low ablativity in Blast tunnel of rocket launching pad. According to different aggregate properly, it can make refractory castable with service temperature between 1300-16000C, It performed well in the construction of blast tunnels in Xichang and Jiuquan satellite launching sites, the tunnel can still be used after several ten times launching without any repairing.
